What this register covers. Payment Services Act registration of crypto-asset exchange service providers — a full business authorisation, NOT an anti-money-laundering enrolment. A firm listed here may hold no permission for anything else, and a firm absent from it may be lawfully authorised under a regime this register does not cover. An authorisation is not an endorsement. The Financial Services Agency publishes that a provider is registered under the Payment Services Act. That is a record of a permission, not a recommendation, and not a statement that the provider is safe. The Agency's own note on this list adds that it "does not guarantee or endorse the value of these crypto-assets". No firm on this page is scored, ranked or assessed by us, there is no green tick anywhere on this site, and lists are ordered alphabetically so that the order cannot be read as a judgement either.
