ESMA's union public register classifies 20 entries this way, across 11 member states. The label is the register's own.

This is not the crypto register. MiFID / AIFMD / UCITS investment firms — NOT the MiCA crypto register. A firm listed here may hold no permission for crypto-assets at all — for that, use the guided check against the MiCA register.

A category is not a capability. ESMA publishes that a firm is authorised. That is a record of a permission, not a recommendation, and not a statement that the firm is safe. What any one of these firms may actually do is the list of permissions on its own record page, and each permission is granted separately.
