    “The Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) issues this alert in relation to the company MKAN Coin DMCC (commercially advertising as “MKAN Coin”), a company using the domain name www[.]mkancoin[.]com and operating out of an address 208 Sheikh Zayed Rd, Al Wasl, Dubai. The company was found to be advertising virtual asset activities accessible within the UAE without the necessary regulatory approval. As a result, the company has been instructed to immediately cease all unlicensed virtual asset activities and issued with a fine.”
