Companies and websites regulators have named

Each entry here is a company or a website that a regulator, prosecutor or court published a warning or an action about. We report that they published it, in their words, with the date and a link. We do not add a verdict of our own.

584 companies: 1 named by more than one independent source, 583 by a single authority. And 825 websites a financial regulator has published a warning about, 12 of them by more than one regulator. We hold 2,361 named subjects in our reporting; 1,335 are not listed because no authority in our corpus has published about them by name, and 442 are private individuals, whom we do not list.

What this list does not tell you

  • Not being on it is not a clearance. We list only names an authority in our sources has published about. A firm no regulator has reached yet is the normal state of a new fraud. Search everything we hold.
  • Being on it is not a conviction.A warning list records the authority’s statement in its own terms — often that a firm is not licensed there. Each page links to the authority’s own words.
  • Names are matched as written. A legitimate firm can share a name with one on this list, and clones copy real names on purpose.
